Dr. Ramanath Nayak is an accomplished child rights specialist and committed to the social justice and human rights of vulnerable and downtrodden children. He is a PhD from Jawahar Lal Nehru University and is having about 2 decades of enriching professional experience in the Social Development, Education and Government sectors. His expertise lies in Project Management, Research, Training, Capacity Building, Partner & Budget Management, Team Co-ordination & Supervision; Liaison & Information Networking and Policy Advocacy. Dr. Nayak has been associated with Save the Children, National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR), Pragya, Centre for Education and Communication, Indian Institute of Public Administration, National Institute of Social Work and Social Sciences and many more.
As Sr. Technical Expert (Juvenile Justice and POCSO unit) in the apex child rights body of the country (NCPCR), he developed policy papers, protocols, SOPs and guidelines and supported and facilitated inputs to the Ministry of Women and Child Development. Dr. Nayak has travelled all parts of the country to monitor the child rights and has been a trainer on Child Protection and Child Safeguarding Policy.
